In the short time I have used the CellStim, I have experienced great results in lessening TMJ discomfort. The patients I have treated on one side of the jaw are eager to come back for treatment on the other side if both sides are a problem. Used in combination with a mouth splint, we achieve even better results. I have found the CellStim much more effective and with less discomfort than the Tens Unit. Also, if a patient is prone to sore jaws during a restorative procedure this unit definitely helps to prevent post operative discomfort. I endorse it and recommend trying it.

I am on the Canadian National swim team and suffered soft tissue damage from whiplash in a car accident. A pinched C7 in my neck resulted in tendonitis in my left shoulder and elbow. I recently purchased a CellStim machine. After using the machine on a daily basis for about 10 days, the tension I was experiencing in my neck and upper back began to dissipate. Two years ago my back got very bad indeed, severely limiting all movement. Stairs were practically impossible for me. We even considered moving to a place without stairs. I wanted to thank you for your great product. I have been using the Cellstim for the past 8 weeks and have found it to be the only source of healing and pain relief that worked for my condition.
I had severe wrist pain for 6 weeks and when I visited my chiropractor I was diagnosed with slight carpal tunnel problems from fly fishing. After working out the various triggers and surrounding tenderness we still were unable to get relief in the wrist itself. My doctor suggested we try ultrasound, but it proved too strong. Then we tried Microcurrent therapy. After 2 treatments I had relief of the pain for limited periods. I rented a unit to use at home, and after 6 weeks of daily 20 minute treatments now have little to no pain, and only upon stress of continued use for long periods. Thanks again. I have been using the CellStim clinic model for two or three years and I am very impressed with pain relief and healing response time. I have compared it to several other units such as the Electro-Acuscope, My-O-Matic, Mens-O-Matic, Alpha Stim, Precision Micro, and others. The results are just as good or better than units that cost thousands. I have now sold the other units. One technique I have found in using the unit seems to help allergies, many times with just one treatment. I have the patient hold the allergen while I place the probes bilaterally just posterior to the mastoids for about ten seconds. I then retest using muscle testing to see if a previous weak response is now strong. This also works well on toxins and poisons. Emotional work can be done in the same way in response to words, phrases, events, phobias, and emotions. I am also a licensed acupuncturist. It seems to work well on acupuncture points just as well as needles, or if you don’t believe that, you can greatly enhance the needle by stimulating them for about ten seconds with the CellStim. After suffering through three years of knee pain and, even worse, resigned to the fact that I would be severely limited in my physical activities for life, I am extremely happy to tell you that in less than two weeks CellStim has restored my knee back to about 98%. I have joined a workout program at the local gym to build strength back in my legs (specifically my knee) to protect against future knee problems. For the past two years as a youth soccer coach, I found it frustrating that many of the skills I was teaching the girls, I couldn’t even demonstrate myself because of my knee pain. Thanks to the CellStim 600, it appears that is all behind me now. I tried everything over the past few years (weights, BioTape, glucosamine, Lakota) and nothing worked. Even after the first week with CellStim, I was having doubts of how well it would work on my knee. I did notice a fair amount of improvement in the first two days, but in the past 4 -5 days there has been a big improvement, to the point where it feels almost 100%. But I know it won’t be 100% until I build the strength back into my legs. Now that I am “taken care of”, I want my mother to use CellStim. She is 80 years old and has pain going down the outside of her lower right leg. Do you have any suggestions for the placement of the pads?

Osteoarthritis case studies

Case 1. An 85 year old female with severe OA of the knee had been kept awake at night with pain. Prior treatments with anti-inflammatories and cortisone provided temporary, short term relief. CellStimTM treatment consisted of an IFC arrangement of pads on the medial/ lateral line and inf/ sup poles of patella. Treatments began at 3 times a week and then diminished. After 14 treatments in 10 weeks at 30 Hz/ 300 uA x 10 minutes and .3 Hz/ 40 uA x 10 minutes. The pain reduction indicated 95 % improvement.

Case 2. A 70 year old male with moderate OA of the knee reports on occasion for treatment of knee pain. Previous treatment with IFC gave some improvement for short term relief. 20 – 30 minute CellStimTM treatments at .3 Hz and 40 uA biphasic gave lasting (2 weeks – 1 month) of significant relief (90-95% improvement). Pad placement was the same as case 1.

Case 3. A 70 year old female with chronic OA of the 1st MTP was treated on 3 occasions with CellstimTM at .3 Hz at 30 uA biphasic once per week for 3 weeks. The joint was probed (using Qtip electrode probes) moving the probe location every 3 to 5 seconds. After 3 treatments the patient reported 90% improvement.
